HydroClear® XP is a two-component chemical filter medium made from a special screening of our HydroCarbon®2 Granular Activated Carbon and PhosBan® with the fines screened out. Packaged in a convenient fine mesh media bag, so Hydroclear XP is ready to install in hang-on-the-back power filters, canister filters, or in flow-through sections of sump filters. With a high capacity to adsorb dissolved organic substances, phosphate, and silicate in freshwater or saltwater, Hydroclear XP helps preserve the original nutrient-poor condition and reduces the maintenance required.
